Trollbeads Bracelets
The personal fitting of your bracelet by an approved Trollbeads stockist is very important as it ensures the
bracelet is just right for you and that there is enough slack for new beads to be added without putting pressure on the lock.
If the bracelet is too tight it may force the lock open and beads could be lost. As an added precaution we recommend that
you have a stopper or safety chain fitted to your bracelet.
We strongly recommend for full and heavy bracelets and necklaces that the Basic Lock 10103 is not chosen as it is more
vulnerable than the larger stronger locks and can snag inside the larger holed beads.
Remember that this dainty Basic Lock 10103 is most suitable for lighter bracelets and necklaces.
If you wear silver beads on your gold chain, please be aware that the silver can deposit a slight tarnish. You can easily
remove this by gently buffing the chain regularly with a silver-polishing cloth.
Finally, enjoy your Trollbeads!
Trollbeads Locks
It is not always easy for customers to decide which lock to choose for their Trollbeads purchase, so can we remind you of a few points:
The Leather Bracelets are best fitted with one of the chunkier style of locks, for example the Knot Lock 10106, Plain Lock 10111 or Tree Lock 10114. Neither the Basic Lock 10103, nor the Swan Lock 10115 fit with the leather, and whilst the Big Fish Lock 10102 and Big Flower Lock 10101 do fit, they are not very user friendly with the leather.
The Trollbeads Basic Lock 10103 and Gold Basic Lock 20103 work excellently on Necklaces and are fine on a lightweight Bracelet, but we would always recommend a sturdier style of lock on a more complete bracelet because of the weight. The use of a Stopper 10401 or Safety Chain 10402 is always recommended to protect your precious beads.
